Corangamite Arts is a local volunteer community arts organisation which initiates and manages local community cultural development projects and fosters and engages local artists. We firmly believe that active participation in the arts contributes to individual and community vitality and well being.

The 2015 Artist Support Fund aims to assist and encourage artists of any age, who are residents of Corangamite Shire, with the development of their projects. Funding could be considered for any of the following:

• assistance with the purchase of art materials for a project, • workshop fees, • travel expenses to a workshop, • books and educational materials,

• assistance with setting up an exhibition, display, performance or book.

Criteria

This fund is open to:

• professional and non professional artists of any age Shire

• residents of the Corangamite Shire. (Projects need not be focussed on Corangamite Shire)

• all art forms are acceptable • all applications must be accompanied by a simple CV • letters of support from teachers, mentors or associations are advisable.

Applications for grants that fit these criteria are encouraged.

Grants of up to $300 will be considered and applications should be received by November 15th 2014 by post to Corangamite Arts Inc, PO Box 298, Camperdown 3260. Successful applicants will be advised by December 1st 2014. For application forms phone: Secretary Lyn McLean on 5593 1959.
